Headquartered In Columbus, OH, TIGERPOLY MANUFACTURING, INC., a dynamic, state-of-the-art Tier One OEM of specialized automotive components, is seeking the following team-oriented, dedicated individuals:

LEAN SUPERVISOR

Performing Kaizen activities for the manufacturing floor and directing/accomplishing activities and improvements in a focused manner, you will:

  • Observe plant floor processes for potential improvements and design, create and implement improvements using the following:
    • Value stream mapping
    • Analytical analysis
    • Step analysis
    • Quality tracking
    • Brain-storming
  • Rearrange equipment in work cells by implementing job flow standardization.
  • Analyze floor processes for similarities, data gathering and parato analysis.
  • Build check fixtures, table cooling racks and slides.
  • Analyze the Kaizen effectiveness by  using metrics comparison and ROI.
  • Create budgets for Kaizen activities and be directly responsible for Kaizen project from cradle to grave.
  • Supervise one hourly employee and train floor associates and team leaders on new processes.
  • May be occasionally asked to perform as back-up shift supervisor.

To quality, you must:

  • Be trained  in or have experience in Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis and project management.
  • Be willing to be totally hands-on. Will spend the majority of time on the plant floor many times using hand tools, cameras, and possibly driving a forklift.
  • Be able to create value-stream mapping, project management time lines and ROI  reports.
  • A minimum of 2 years post High School education or certification in Lean Manufacturing, and a minimum of 8 years supervisory and Kaizen experience are preferred.  Experience training others would be helpful.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
1st Shift (7AM-3:30PM) plus overtime

Troubleshooting and repairing all automated equipment (Nissei’s, Mitsubishi’s, and Toshiba’s) in a blow molding, injection molding, and fabrication environment, you will:

  • Perform failure analysis and preventive maintenance.
  • Provide assistance to engineering associates as needed.
  • Repair/maintain physical structures using hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Move, install and adjust fixtures and other electrical/mechanical equipment.
  • May also repair, install and maintain electrical systems and fixtures.

To qualify, you:

  • Must be experienced in electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and be able to read/understand schematics.
  • Must be able to read/understand blueprints.
  • Must be able to read diagrams and specifications on PLC’s.
  • Must be able to manufacture needed parts if new parts are not available.
  • Must be able to perform preventive maintenance.
  • Must be able to read/understand ladder diagrams.
  • Will perform safety inspections.
  • Must be able to weld minor projects.
  • Must be able to do basic metal work on lathe and milling machines with instructions.
  • Must be trained on operating a forklift.
  • A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, working knowledge of OSHA regulations and national electric code, and proficiency programming and troubleshooting robotic systems required. A 2 year degree or technical school would be a plus.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
3rd Shift (11PM-7:30AM) plus overtime
  • Same duties/requirements as above 1st Shift position.
